It’s been a dream come true to intern at Elevation Beer Co. as part of the Craft Brewing program at Regis University. I’ve been a fan of Elevation since they opened nearly 10 years ago and the experience of helping brew my favorite beers - the Double IPA and Oil Man - is something I will never forget. The team at Elevation is extremely generous in sharing their knowledge and time with me and I could not have asked for a better internship experience. The internship is one of many requirements of Regis University’s Certificate in Applied Craft Brewing to prepare students for a career in the industry. The program meets weekly for almost a full year and includes courses on the Science of Brewing, the Business of Craft Beer and hands-on brew days at local breweries.
